The tongue is a tattletale, and it tells on the heart. Jesus said, "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." The tongue is the revealer of the heart. One way God tests our faith is by the words we speak, because true faith will be demonstrated by speech and so will false faith. Nothing reveals the heart like our words.  Poorly chosen words can kill enthusiasm, impact self-esteem, lower expectations and hold people back. Well chosen ones can motivate, offer hope, create vision, impact thinking and alter results.
